NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
We are now accepting applications for our next Yoga Teacher Training Program. Our program is not only for people who are interested in teaching yoga, but more importantly, it is perfect for anyone who is looking to deepen their own practice or who is looking for a personal growth opportunity. We offer two tracks: The first track is the actual Yoga Teacher Training which includes everything you need to become a Certified Yoga Teacher and allows you to Register with the Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level. The second track is called the Deepening Your Practice track. This is for people who are not necessarily interested in teaching yoga, but who want to use the training as a personal growth opportunity where they will learn more about yoga, its philosophy and practices, as well as themselves during the process. We are now accepting applications for our both tracks. The next program will begin in May, 2019. You may move through all of the Modules in order, or you can take up to three years to complete the Training on your own timeline. KUNDALINI ESSENTIALS YOGA CLASS
Wednesday Evenings from 6:00 - 7:15 pm
Join us on Wednesday evenings of for Kundalini Essentials. Kundalini Yoga, also called the Yoga of Awareness, is a dynamic tool designed to give you a deeper experience of yoga. It includes physical postures, breathing techniques, mantra and meditation. This class is for All Levels and those wishing to expand their experience of yoga. The class will be taught by 200 hour Certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher Tansy Foster. Yoga has been a meaningful part of Tansy’s life since she first took classes as a teenager. Her regular practice of yoga has been shaped by different styles and teachers over the last 25+ years. In 2013 Tansy found her home in Kundalini Yoga which she finds transformative through its opening up of a direct experience of body and mind. Tansy earned her Level 1 Instructor Certification in Boulder, CO from the Kundalini Research Institute in 2015. She holds a professional degree in Architecture and an MBA in Finance & Real Estate Finance. After many years as the CEO of a private real estate company and boutique winery, working as a realtor and volunteer chaplain, she is now passionate about sharing yoga with others. This class can be taken off of your regular class card or if you do not have a class card, the drop in fee is $15. Please call the studio with any questions.

We will continue our Yoga Walks into the winter!! Yoga walks include a guided warm-up, group walk, standing yoga postures, brief walking meditation, and return walk. No mats, props, or experience needed. With variable weather, please join us at your own comfort level, gentle rain or shine. For severe storms, assume the walk is canceled. We recommend a $1 - $10 donation which will support a different environmental organization. The next walk will be on February 2...the LOCATION for the walks will be posted each month. NEW!! POST NATAL YOGA CLASS

NEW FOR 2019! Free Spirit Yoga will be offering a post-natal yoga class for women who’ve recently had children (about 6 months or more after childbirth). The healing process for new moms and families can be complicated and fast paced. This bi-monthly, ninety-minute class will offer moms a space to connect, slow down, heal, and re-charge their body, mind and spirit. Please join us beginning on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 10:00-11:30 am for some great mat and mom time. This class will be led by Elizabeth Stuart, RYT 200 and Tracy Forray, RYT 200. Sunday mornings from 9:00 - 10:00 am starting in January
Tap your Power, Flow with your Breath. A fun, accessible Vinyasa class with mindful movement to cultivate strength, flexibility, and balance while also calming your mind. Taught by T Rowe, RYT200 and Tracy Forray, RYT200, this class will incorporate fairly simple, but powerful, postures that will be "work-shopped" each class with correct alignment cues to safely help you unlock your greatest potential. This is a unique mini-series, where classes are themed and repetitive for the month with similar postures & cues so students may realize identifiable growth. MINDFULNESS BASED STRESS REDUCTION CLASS

Do you find yourself worrying about the future? Or stuck thinking about something in the past? Join us for an 8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course as we explore this practical time-proven approach to living fully in the present moment. The practice of mindfulness has helped thousands of people achieve greater balance, vitality and health.
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction is a program developed by Jon Kabat Zinn from the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in 1979. The complete 8 week program, including a day long retreat, has been shown to be effective at decreasing stress, pain sensitivity, anxiety and depression. This course is being offered on Sundays starting on January 20th and will go through March 10th, from 3 – 5:30 pm. There is a full day retreat on Saturday, March 2, from 10 am to 5 pm. Included in this course is instruction and group practice in several formal mindfulness meditation practices, as well as discussion of the roles of stress, thoughts and emotions which may contribute to anxiety, chronic pain and illness.

BACK TO BASICS - A FOUR PART YOGA SERIES
Beginning Monday, February 4 from 5:30 - 6:30 pm
Returning in February!! The Back to Basics Series is an entry level program for students who are new to yoga practice or for those who want to brush up on the basics. If you’ve ever wondered if you can “do” yoga but have been hesitant to try, this class is for you. Back to Basics will introduce yoga fundamentals to students through teaching seated poses, standing poses, balancing poses and meditation. Students will be encouraged to ask questions and be curious as they explore their yoga practice. This series is broken into four (4) one-hour classes that will meet each Monday beginning on Monday, February 4, 2019 from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. It is recommended that you register for the class ahead of time, but drop-in is also available. The cost for all 4 classes is $50 and the drop-in rate is $15/class (a total of $60). The class is being led by Elizabeth Stuart, RYT 200. Elizabeth recently earned her Yoga Teacher Certification through Free Spirit Yoga. She began her yoga journey in Atlanta and chose to become certified after relocating to Hershey with her husband and teenage son. BUILD A BETTER BACK BEND
Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 10 am - 12 noon
Love them or hate them, back bends are for everyone. In this workshop we will open our hearts to backbends. Learn to go deeper safely with body alignment, muscle recruitment and breath. Take a closer look to discover what makes a better backbend, how to safely move into backbends and how to modify them with props. A dislike for backbends is okay (I had one for many years), but also bring a sense of curiosity and openness. Bring your mat and something to take notes. This workshop is open to everyone and can count as 2 direct contact hours for Yoga Teacher CEUs. The cost is $25. The workshop will be lead by Kate Toczek, E-RYT 500, YACEP. BELLY DANCE BASICS - AN INTRODUCTORY SERIES TO BELLY DANCING

PELVIC FLOOR DYSFUNCTION AND HOW YOGA CAN HELP

USUI REIKI LEVEL 2 CLASS
Sunday, April 7 from 10:30 am - 5:00 pm
The prerequisite to this class is to have a Usui Reiki Level 1 Certification. Students should be doing Reiki to themselves regularly. This level brings a deeper understanding of the Reiki energy, and practitioners can send healing to people, places and situations, cleanse spaces energetically, and enhance their own energy vibration.
