NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
We are now accepting applications for our next Yoga Teacher Training Program. Our program is not only for people who are interested in teaching yoga, but more importantly, it is perfect for anyone who is looking to deepen their own practice or who is looking for a personal growth opportunity. We offer two tracks: The first track is the actual Yoga Teacher Training which includes everything you need to become a Certified Yoga Teacher and allows you to Register with the Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level. The second track is called the Deepening Your Practice track. This is for people who are not necessarily interested in teaching yoga, but who want to use the training as a personal growth opportunity where they will learn more about yoga, its philosophy and practices, as well as themselves during the process. We are now accepting applications for our both tracks. The next program will begin in May, 2019. You may move through all of the Modules in order, or you can take up to three years to complete the Training on your own timeline. Please contact Stephanie if you or someone you know is interested and she will send a copy of the full syllabus for whichever track you are interested in as well as an application. YOGA ON THE CORNER
We are continuing to partner with The Mount Gretna Craft Brewery and Red Canoe General Store to provide an ongoing yoga presence. We offer a donation-based Karma Yoga Class on the third Saturday Morning of every month from 9:00 - 10:00 am. In addition, we offer a morning Yoga Class from 9:30 - 10:30 am every Thursday morning. The cost is $10. The intention is to create an atmosphere of Community so come on out for some yoga and then relax with a cup of coffee or tea.
HERSHEY VINEYARD YOGA
We continue to offer Yoga classes at The Vineyard and Brewery of Hershey the fourth Wednesdays of every month. The class runs from 6:00 - 7:00 pm and is taught by Kara Perella, one of Yoga Teacher Training Graduates! The cost is $15 which includes the yoga class and a wine tasting afterwards! Come on out for some Yoga and Wine!
First Saturday of every month from 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Our Yoga Walks will continue into the Fall!! Yoga walks include a guided warm-up, group walk, standing yoga postures, brief walking meditation, and return walk. No mats, props, or experience needed. With variable weather, please join us at your own comfort level, gentle rain or shine. For severe storms, assume the walk is canceled. We are recommending a $1 - $10 donation which will support a different environmental organization. The next walk will be on Saturday, September 8. Dates for future walks are October 6, November 3, and December 1. The LOCATIONS for these walks will be posted each month. KUNDALINI YOGA CLASS
1st and 3rd Wednesday Evenings 6:00 - 7:15 pm
Join us on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday evenings of every month for Kundalini Yoga. Kundalini Yoga, also called the Yoga of Awareness, is a dynamic tool designed to give you a deeper experience of yoga. It includes physical postures, breathing techniques, mantra and meditation. This class is for All Levels and those wishing to expand their experience of yoga. The class will be taught by 200 hour Certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher Tansy Foster. Yoga has been a meaningful part of Tansy’s life since she first took classes as a teenager. Her regular practice of yoga has been shaped by different styles and teachers over the last 25+ years. In 2013 Tansy found her home in Kundalini Yoga which she finds transformative through its opening up of a direct experience of body and mind. Tansy earned her Level 1 Instructor Certification in Boulder, CO from the Kundalini Research Institute in 2015. She holds a professional degree in Architecture and an MBA in Finance & Real Estate Finance. After many years as the CEO of a private real estate company and boutique winery, working as a realtor and volunteer chaplain, she is now passionate about sharing yoga with others. This class can be taken off of your regular class card or if you do not have a class card, the drop in fee is $15. Please call the studio with any questions.
RESTORATIVE YOGA CLASS
1st and 3rd Thursday Mornings &
2nd and 4th Wednesday Evenings
Come and join our Thursday morning and Wednesday evening Restorative Yoga classes taught by Sarah Monroy, RYT-200. Relaxation is the state in which there is no movement, no effort, and your brain is quiet. These Restorative classes are designed to do just that...they help to release deeply held tensions from your body and mind and allow you the opportunity to deeply relax. Props are used as a way to support your body as you relax into the poses. This class is an ongoing class which is held on the first and third Thursday mornings of every month from 10:30 am until noon and the second and fourth Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. The classes include breathing exercises (pranayama), restorative poses, relaxing music, and inspirational quotes and readings. It is suitable for all levels. This is a pay as you go class where the cost of each class is $20. Because this is a specialized class, which requires a lot of personalized attention, there is a limit of 8 people per class so if you are interested, please sign up in advance by emailing Sarah at firstname.lastname@example.org or call her at 717-512-2034.

We are offering an introductory workshop on Kundalini Yoga taught by our own Kundalini Yoga Teacher, Tansy Foster. During this workshop Tansy will explain what Kundalini Yoga is and will lead you through some basic Kundalini Yoga practices. These days Life can feel draining. You are stressed, you deal with unexpected situations, you face difficult people. The list goes on. Imagine what it would be like if you reacted differently to your stressors, and decided to consciously bring more energy into your life. Believe it or not, you are not bound by how you feel. Your energy is like a bank account and emotional experiences will either deposit into or withdraw from your account. The problem is, you are often withdrawing more than depositing. When you increase your deposits, your energy increases and your health and well-being improve. If you have been trying to make changes, but find you are struggling or stuck, join us for the Your Energy = Your Power = Your Life Workshop! This is an experiential workshop where you will learn and practice transformative tools that will teach you to expand your awareness of your own personal energy, the energy systems within you and that surround you, how you give and receive energy and how the energetic forces in your environment affect your "Energetic Bank Account."
The Workshop will be led by Gigi Jantos and Stephanie Trump Johnston. Gigi has practiced Reiki as a teacher and practitioner for 20 years. Throughout this time she has studied many energetic techniques for wellness and well-being. Stephanie has practiced yoga for 25 years and has taught it since 2000. She has a particular interest in the relationship between our energy system and how it affects our psychological wellbeing. Gigi and Stephanie created this workshop because they have both personally experienced how understanding and working with our own energy can change our lives.
The Workshop will be held on Saturday, October 13 from 10:00 am – 2:30 pm and Sunday, October 14 from 10:00 am – 2:30 pm. Please bring a packed lunch both days. WAKING UP TO MINDFULNESS

This introductory session provides a taste of the fundamentals of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, which has been shown to reduce anxiety, depression, and pain, and to improve well-being. Join Nancy Behney, MBSR Teacher as we explore this practical time-proven approach to living fully in the present moment. The practice of mindfulness has helped thousands of people achieve greater balance, vitality and health. The class will include a variety of mindfulness meditation practices, discussions and activities that are designed to help you manage your stress and enhance your well-being. BACK TO BASICS - A FOUR PART YOGA SERIES
Beginning Monday, October 15 from 5:30 - 6:30 pm
NEW THIS FALL! The Back to Basics Series is an entry level program for students who are new to yoga practice or for those who want to brush up on the basics. If you’ve ever wondered if you can “do” yoga but have been hesitant to try, this class is for you. Back to Basics will introduce yoga fundamentals to students through teaching seated poses, standing poses, balancing poses and meditation. Students will be encouraged to ask questions and be curious as they explore their yoga practice. This series is broken into four (4) one-hour classes that will meet each Monday beginning on Monday, October 15, 2018 from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. It is recommended that you register for the class ahead of time, but drop-in is also available. The cost for all 4 classes is $50 and the drop-in rate is $15/class (a total of $60). The class is being led by Elizabeth Stuart, RYT 200. Elizabeth recently earned her Yoga Teacher Certification through Free Spirit Yoga. She began her yoga journey in Atlanta and chose to become certified after relocating to Hershey with her husband and teenage son. REIKI LEVEL 1 TRAINING

Reiki is a gentle, hands-on healing art, that helps reconnect you with the wisdom that is already within you; the ability to heal yourself, others, and animals. It helps to create relaxation, relieve pain, balance emotions, and facilitate personal and spiritual growth. Everyone can tap into this unlimited supply of “life energy”. Reiki is easy to learn and has been taught to people of all ages and backgrounds. Reiki is taught in three sequential class levels.
USUI REIKI LEVEL ONE CLASS - Participants will learn and experience:
· The history of Usui Reiki
· a review of the bodies energy (chakra) system
· receive attunements to empower yourself as a vital conduit for life-force energy
· how to use the energy of your intentions for healing
· practical guidance to incorporate Reiki into your life
